One Critically, in Crash on 405 Freeway Near Brentwood
LOS ANGELES, Calif. (July 2, 2025) – A multi-vehicle crash involving a semi-truck on the San Diego (405) Freeway early Wednesday morning left three people injured, including one person who lost a limb.
The traffic accident occurred around 2:15 a.m. on July 2nd in the southbound lanes of the freeway at the Getty Center off-ramp, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Police responded to the collision involving the big rig truck, a white utility truck, and a gray Jeep.
3 Men Seriously Injured in Crash on I-405
Paramedics transported three people to hospitals, including a 53-year-old man who lost a leg in the accident. Two others, a 59-year-old man and a 34-year-old man, were also seriously injured; however, they could walk, according to one report.
Meanwhile, the southbound numbers three, four, and five lanes of the 405 freeway were closed due to the investigation into the cause of the crash and liability.
