2-Vehicle Collision on Highway 154 in Santa Barbara County, CA
SANTA BARBARA COUNTY, Calif. (Oct. 28, 2024) — A two-vehicle crash on Highway 154 near Paradise Road on Saturday night left three people injured in the Santa Ynez Valley.
The Santa Barbara County Fire Department responded to the collision occurred at about 8 p.m. on Oct. 26th in the westbound lanes of SR-154, the California Highway Patrol report said.
One of the driver was allegedly driving reckless prior to colliding with the other motorists. Three people were injured and trapped in both vehicles.
Paramedics from the SBCFD located one woman with major injuries who was airlifted by helicopter to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital, a fire officials said.
Meanwhile, there was also a man with moderate injuries, and a another person was treated for minor injuries. They were both transported by ambulance to a hospital.
CHP traffic investigators are working to determine fault for the crash on Highway 154 in the Santa Ynez Valley.
