Pickup Truck Overturns Multiple Times, Crashes into Ravine in Phelan
PHELAN, Calif. (Nov. 11, 2024) — Three people were hospitalized after a pickup truck went off Phelan Road and overturned into a ravine, just east of Aster Road in Phelan.
The two-vehicle crash occurred at 6:27 p.m. on Friday, November 8th, according to Victor Valley News Group.
The dark gray Toyota Tacoma pickup truck was traveling westbound on Phelan Road when it may have collided with another truck. The truck was carrying six occupants when it reportedly went off the roadway. The vehicle overturned multiple times before landing on its side roughly 200 feet down a ravine.
San Bernardino County Fire crews and paramedics responded and helped six occupants from the vehicle exit and got them to safety. Three people were transported by ambulances to a hospital.
The California Highway Patrol Victorville station is heading up the investigation into what happened.
