3 Killed, 3 Injured in Head-on Collision in Adelanto
CRASH VICTIMS ID’d: Rogelio Hernandez, 44, Jamie Hernandez, 41, Jose Silva, 20
ADELANTO, Calif. (Feb. 10, 2025) — Rogelio Hernandez, 44, and Jamie Hernandez, 41, both died Friday morning in a head-on crash with another motorist in Adelanto on El Mirage Road.
Jose Silva, 20, of Palmdale, also died in the collision around 5:55 a.m. on Feb. 7th, just west of Koala Road, according to the San Bernardino County Coroner’s Office.
The two Adelanto men were traveling together in a westbound gray Chevrolet Tahoe SUV when the Palmdale man’s eastbound red Honda Civic crossed into their path. The two vehicles crashed head-on with one another.
Paramedics and confirmed the deaths of all three men at the scene and also transported three other passengers from the Tahoe to hospitals due to major injuries.
Investigators including Deputy R. Morales, San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department Major Accident Investigation Team (M.A.I.T.) are working on the case.
