Two Motorcyclists, Pedestrian Killed in Multi-Vehicle Crash
AZUSA, Calif. (Oct. 5, 2023) – Three people were killed in an accident involving two motorcycles and multiple cars at Cerritos Avenue and Arrow Highway in Azusa.
The two motorcyclists reportedly collided into five vehicles Wednesday afternoon on Oct. 4th, according to the Azusa Police Department.
Police reported that two motorcyclists were traveling eastbound on Arrow Highway. They reached high speed and both of the bikes went airborne. One of them hit a pedestrian standing on a street corner and both vehicles collided with five other vehicles, according to NBC 4.
Both the motorcyclist and the pedestrian sustained major injuries and died at the scene.
Los Angeles County Fire Department paramedics rushed to the crash scene. The second motorcyclist was transported to a hospital in critical condition, but later died.
The victims will be identified by the Los Angeles County Sheriff Coroner.
