3 Killed in Crash on Riverside 91 Freeway in Buena Park
Deadly Collision on Riverside Freeway in Orange County
BUENA PARK, Calif. (Feb. 7, 2025) – Three people were killed early Friday morning after a big rig truck and pickup truck collided on the Riverside (91) Freeway in Buena Park.
The two-vehicle crash occurred amid rainy conditions at around 3:50 a.m. on the eastbound side of the Riverside Freeway, just east of Valley View Street, according to a California Highway Patrol dispatch.
The semi-truck crashed into the GMC pickup truck which was already disabled on the freeway after a previous collision. The collision may have been a solo collision, according to the Orange County Register.
Also, all three adult victims are believed to be in their 20s or 30s and were all riding in the pickup truck. Their identities have not been released.
The CHP issued a SigAlert and temporarily closed all eastbound lanes except for the slow lane due to the crash and investigation.
