3 Killed in Needles Crash on Highway 95 Near CA-NV Border

Five Hospitalized After Two-Vehicle Collision on US 95
NEEDLES, Calif. (Feb. 3, 2026) — A child and two adults are dead, and five others were hospitalized after a crash Sunday on US Highway 95 in Needles at the California-Nevada border.
The collision occurred around 12:43 p.m. on Feb. 1st, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff-Coroner.
The deadly head-on crash involved a gray Chevrolet pickup truck and a white minivan or SUV. One of the vehicles reportedly crossed into the path of the other one.
According to the San Bernardino County Fire Department they located five patients with injuries who were taken by helicopter to trauma centers and three others were pronounced dead at the scene.

Those who died have been identified as driver, Robert Bagozzi, 78, and his passenger, Wendy Bagozzi, 77, both of Washington UT.
Kenzlie Cavasar, 7, of Las Vegas NV, also died in the crash. It’s unknown at this time if they were in the same vehicle or not.
Authorities closed down the highway due to the violent crash.
