Deadly Collision Involving Motorcycle and Bicycle Rider
VICTORVILLE, Calif. (August 15, 2024) — Three people died in a traffic crash involving a motorcycle and bicycle Thursday at La Paz Drive and Valley Center Drive in Victorville.
The deadly collision occurred at around 12:10 a.m., on August 15, 2024, according to the Victorville Fire Department and VVNG.
Paramedics and police responded to a 911 call regarding a pedestrian accident at the Victorville intersection.
Upon arrival, firefighters discovered a white 2023 Harley-Davidson Softail Low Rider S and a bicycle down in the roadway, along with two men and a woman with severe injuries. The victims included a 30-year-old man and his 38-year-old female passenger as well as a 57-year-old man who was riding the bicycle.
All three people had major injuries and were pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities closed down La Paz Drive between Roy Rogers Drive and Seventh Street to conduct an investigation into the Victorville crash.
