Multi-Vehicle Crash on Riverside 91 Freeway in Anaheim

ANAHEIM, Calif. (Oct. 24, 2024) — A collision involving three motorists happened Thursday morning on the westbound Riverside 91 Freeway, just east of State Route 55 in Anaheim.

The multi-vehicle crash occurred at 9:44 a.m. on Oct. 24th, according to the California Highway Patrol.

CHP officials reported a white SUV, a red sedan, and a white Toyota Avalon collided near the fast lane and HOV lane of the freeway. Some of the vehicles had airbags deployed and an older man trapped in one of the white vehicles needed medical attention.

Paramedics responded to help those injured, but there were no major injuries reported.

Tow trucks removed the damaged vehicles and police issued a SigAlert due to multiple lanes being blocked by the collision.

Investigators are working to determine fault for the Anaheim collision on the 91 Freeway.
