Chain-Reaction Crash on Highway 58 in Golden Hills
KERN COUNTY, Calif. (Nov. 27, 2024) — A three-vehicle crash happened Wednesday morning on Highway 58 near the tunnels in the Golden Hills area of Kern County.
The chain-reaction crash occurred on eastbound State Route 58 at around 6:07 a.m. on Nov. 27th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported the drivers of a Nissan Frontier pickup truck, a Toyota Camry, and a Honda Accord were involved. The pickup truck and the Camry both had front-end damage and the Accord had a “smashed rear-end,” the report said.
Paramedics responded to help anyone injured, but there were no further details.
Investigators will determine fault for the crash on Highway 58 also known as the Barstow-Bakersfield Highway in Kern County.
