LODI, Calif. (August 24, 2026) — A three-vehicle crash happened Monday morning in Lodi on the northbound Highway 99 near the North Cherokee Lane onramp, resulting in major injuries.
The incident, logged on August 24th at 11:47 a.m., involved a gray Toyota Prius and a blue Subaru, among other vehicles. According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the collision initially blocked the fast lane and created heavy traffic in the area near Victor Road north of Stockton.
Eyewitnesses reported seeing individuals trapped in vehicles, with at least one party in a white vehicle appearing to be bleeding. Passersby reportedly provided first aid kits to assist the injured parties before emergency personnel arrived.
Emergency responders, including units from the Stockton Fire Department, were dispatched to the scene. CHP officers initially categorized the incident as a traffic collision with unknown injuries, but it was later updated to a major injury collision. Tow services were requested to clear the vehicles involved.
The collision remains under investigation by the California Highway Patrol, who are urging any witnesses to come forward to assist with their inquiries.
