One Woman Taken to Hospital After Multi-Vehicle Crash

IMPERIAL COUNTY, Calif. (June 6, 2025) – A three-vehicle collision early Friday morning disrupted traffic along southbound State Route 86, just south of West Keystone Road, and left one woman injured, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The crash happened around 4:07 a.m. on June 6th and involved a silver Lexus RX350, a silver Jeep SUV, and a Ford pickup. CHP logs indicate the collision blocked both lanes of the highway and left debris scattered across the roadway. One woman was reportedly trapped and unable to get out of her vehicle. Emergency medical responders from AMR were dispatched and arrived approximately 15 minutes later.

All vehicles were rendered disabled in the crash. At least two tow trucks were requested to the scene, including Premier Tow and Valley Tow. Authorities worked to divert traffic and restore normal flow by 5:30 a.m., at which point all lanes were reopened.

The cause of the crash is under investigation. No other serious injuries were reported.

CHP reminds drivers to reduce speed and stay alert, especially in early morning hours when visibility is low and traffic conditions can change rapidly.
