Boy, 7, Critically Injured in Crash on Mojave Drive
VICTORVILLE, Calif. (Sept. 20, 2023) — At least six people — including three children — were injured in a Victorville car accident Sunday morning at Mojave Drive and East Trail.
The multi-vehicle crash occurred around 12:52 a.m. on September 17th, according to Victor Valley News.
The drivers of a Chevrolet Camaro, a Tesla Model X and an Infiniti Q50 were involved.
Garret King, 19, of Hesperia, was driving the Camaro eastbound on Mojave Drive when he allegedly broadsided the Infiniti as it was turning south from Mojave Drive onto East Trail, the report said.
The Infiniti veered into westbound traffic and subsequently collided head-on into the Tesla SUV as it was about to make a left-hand turn, the report said. The Tesla was occupied by two adults and three children.

The Victorville Police Department and Fire Department responded to the three-vehicle crash at the intersection to help those involved.
They transported all five people from the Tesla to hospitals including a 7-year-old boy who was critically injured in the crash.
Garret King was taken by ambulance to a hospital for treatment of undisclosed injuries, but it’s unknown at this time if anyone from the Infiniti was hurt.
Police are investigating whether one of the drivers was under the influence of alcohol or drugs at the time of the collision.
The cause of the Victorville accident on Mojave Drive remains under investigation.
