WHITTIER, California (May 12, 2016) — A pedestrian was injured in a car crash Thursday morning at Placide Drive and Carmenita Road, a California Highway Patrol report said.
The crash took place about 5:42 a.m. this morning, just west of Carmenita Road. Paramedics with the Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to transport the victim to a local hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries. The Los Angles County Sheriff’s Department remained at the scene to hold the location for investigating CHP officers. It appears the crash may have been a hit-and-run situation.
