2 Extricated from Car after Colliding with Pickup
SACRAMENTO, California (April 25, 2016) – Four were seriously injured in a 2-vehicle collision at Howe Avenue and Hurley Way on Monday morning, according to ABC 10 News. (map)
The crash occurred when a pickup truck and Mercedes collided at the intersection just before 6 a.m.
As per the article, Sacramento Metro Fire Department were on scene and extricated two occupants from the Mercedes using the Jaws of Life. Both freed victims and two other people in the pickup suffered major injuries following the accident.
All four victims were transported to UC Davis Medical Center for further medical treatment. Their names and conditions at this time remained undisclosed.
The cause of the incident has not been yet known. Authorities are gathering more information and evidence to determine liability.
