4 Dead in Fresno County Car Crashes the Week of July 4
FRESNO COUNTY, California (July 8, 2016) –Three men and one woman were killed in separate traffic accidents over the Fourth of July weekend as well as this week, according to a report by the Fresno Bee.
Indeed it was a deadly weekend statewide as 35 people were killed in crashes throughout California compared to 26 who died the previous year, according to the California Highway Patrol.
In Fresno County, there was a crash that took place early Sunday morning near Huron that claimed the life of Walter Navarro, 26, of Huron at the intersection of Oakland and Lake avenues.
On Tuesday, July 5, Herery Oung, 27, of Fresno died in a crash on Highway 168 just south of Prather near Nicholas Road. The same day, Richard Myles, 31, of Fresno died in a multi-vehicle crash on Highway 99 at Clovis Avenue. Two others were injured in this wrong-way crash involving three motorists.
Rosa Reyes, 49, of Fresno, died in a crash at Belmont Avenue and 11th Street in the central Fresno area, but there were no further details.
