6-Year-Old Hospitalized with Major Injuries
The accident involving a red Impala and a green Honda was reported at 10:14 p.m., in the northbound lanes of the freeway, north of Highway 138.
As per the article, San Bernardino County Fire Department responded to the scene and performed extrication. A total of four victims required medical attention, including a six-year-old child who was confirmed to have been seriously injured following the crash.
The six-year-old was taken by ground ambulance to Loma Linda University Medical Center for treatment.
A witness told Victor Valley News that the Honda was traveling slow with hazards on in the truck lane when it was rear-ended by the Impala.
One of the vehicles involved reportedly spun to the right and then bounced back, crossing the second and third lanes.
The incident is still under investigation.
