 4 Injured in Crash Hope Street and Ninth Street in Downtown Los Angeles

Suspect in Police Pursuit Arrested; 4 Hospitalized

LOS ANGELES, Calif. (March 30, 2023) — Four people were injured and one was arrested after a two-vehicle crash Wednesday night on Hope Street in downtown Los Angeles.

The collision occurred around 9 p.m. on March 29th, according to MyNewsLA.

The Los Angeles Police Department responded to 858 South Hope St. at Ninth Street. A suspect involved in a brief police pursuit reportedly crashed with another motorist.

Authorities arrested the suspect and requested paramedics to help the four injured people from the two vehicles. The injured were taken to hospitals in unknown condition. Meanwhile, police arrested the suspect at the scene on unknown charges.

The crash on Hope Street remains under investigation.
