Four Injured in Multi-Vehicle Collision on 210 Freeway in Lake View Terrace

LAKE VIEW TERRACE, Calif. (August 21, 2025) — Four people were injured, two critically, following a multi-vehicle crash early Wednesday on the westbound 210 Freeway, authorities said.

The California Highway Patrol reported the collision at about 5:26 a.m. near Wheatland Avenue. All westbound lanes were closed for more than an hour as emergency crews responded.

According to Los Angeles Fire Department spokesperson Lyndsey Lantz, paramedics transported four victims from the scene — two by ground ambulance and at least one by air after a landing zone was established at Hansen Dam Soccer Field. The victims were described as a 35-year-old man in fair condition, two women ages 41 and 48 in serious condition, and a 10-year-old child who was in critical condition.

The injured were not identified at this time.

By 6:30 a.m., CHP had reopened all westbound lanes, though residual traffic delays continued in the area. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
