Multi-Vehicle Crash on the I-405 Freeway
WESTMINSTER, Calif. (June 3, 2024) — Four people were injured Sunday morning in a crash on the Interstate 405 Freeway near Bolsa Chica Road in Westminster.
The collision involving two or three vehicles occurred on the southbound 405 Freeway at around 6:23 a.m. on June 2nd, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported a red Ford Explorer SUV, a Honda Civic and possibly, a black Tesla were involved with the car catching on fire. The Tesla was facing the wrong way in traffic lanes after the collision and the SUV was on the right shoulder.
Paramedics responded and transported four people to hospitals for treatment of minor injuries from the accident.
Investigators are working to determine fault for the crash on the 405 Freeway in Westminster.
