Car Versus Bus Accident in Visalia
VISALIA, Calif. (August 21, 2023) – Four people were injured Sunday when a car and a Visalia city bus collided at Court Street between Whitendale Avenue and Beech Avenue.
The collision occurred around 2:45 p.m. on Sunday, August 20th, according to the Visalia Police Department.
Police responded to the intersection where they located the drivers of a city bus and a car. Witnesses told authorities the driver in the car allegedly lost control of the vehicle and collided with the bus, according to Your Central Valley News.
Four people from the car suffered injuries including one in critical condition. They were all transported by ambulances to a local hospital for further treatment.
Also, there were no passengers aboard the bus and the driver was not hurt.
Investigators with the Visalia Police Department are heading up the investigation into the crash on Court Street.
