SHASTA LAKE, California — A bus accident resulted in injuries to multiple passengers on Highway 151 in the morning of December 24, according to an article by Record Searchlight.
As per the report, 70-year-old Kwong Yin Lam was driving the 2007 Ford F550 tour bus about 11 a.m. on Saturday with 16 passengers aboard. Suddenly, Lam lost control of the vehicle then hit the side of a dirt embankment and overturned onto its left side.
Emergency crews arrived at the scene shortly after the incident and rescued at least four parties. Four bus passengers ranging in age from 62 to 68 were taken to Shasta Regional Medical Center and Mercy Medical Center with minor injuries.
Lam was not hurt from the accident.
Further investigation is underway to determine charges and liabilities.
