Minor Injury Collision on State Route 4
PITTSBURG, Calif. (August 9, 2024) — A four-vehicle crash happened Friday afternoon on Highway 4, just west of Bailey Road in Pittsburg.
The multi-vehicle crash on the eastbound State Route 4 occurred at around 3:09 p.m. on August 9th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The drivers of a green Ford Ranger pickup truck, a Chevrolet SUV, a Toyota Camry sedan and a grey Toyota Corolla sedan were involved.
Paramedics responded to help those with injuries including a driver from the grey Toyota who was bleeding, had a bump on the back of their head and said their hands were going numb.
Tow trucks removed the Chevrolet SUV due to left-side damage, along with other vehicles with damage.
Investigators are working to determine fault for the crash.
