Tesla Model Y, Bentley Involved in Minor Injury Collision
SAN JOSE, Calif. (August 30, 2024) — A multi-vehicle San Jose crash happened Friday on the northbound Interstate 680 Freeway, just south of Berryessa Road.
The four-vehicle collision occurred at 12:22 p.m. on August 30th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported the initial crash involved a white Tesla Model Y and a black Bentley sedan in the fast lane. The Tesla was blocking the No. 1 lane and smoking when a third vehicle collided with it and the center divider. A Chrysler was also crashed in the fast lane and three of the four vehicles were facing in the wrong direction after the collisions.
Paramedics with the San Jose Fire Department responded, but it’s unknown how many people were hurt in the crash. The CHP report stated the injuries were all minor.
Meanwhile, tow trucks removed all four vehicles from the freeway and investigators are working to determine fault for the San Jose crash on the 680 Freeway.
