BAKERSFIELD, California (August 5, 2016) — One person was hospitalized early Friday morning following a two-vehicle collision on the westbound State Route Highway 58, just east of Mount Vernon Avenue, a California Highway Patrol report said.
The crash took place about 6:32 a.m. this morning between a gray sedan and a white sedan. The report stated the crash occurred at high speeds and that a third vehicle may have also been involved.
Paramedics were called to the scene after one person was reportedly having a seizure.
The Nos. 2 and 3 lanes were shut down to clear the roadway of debris and remove vehicles by tow trucks.
The crash is under investigation by police to determine liability.
