3-Vehicle Car, Bus Accident in Florence-Graham Area
LOS ANGELES, Calif. (Oct. 30, 2023) — Five people were injured in a crash involving an MTA bus Sunday night at Florence Avenue and Compton Avenue in Los Angeles.
The three-vehicle collision occurred at around 7:55 p.m. on Oct. 29th, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
A driver in a small white car reportedly rear-ended the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) bus before the car was also rear-ended by another white car in a chain-reaction crash in the unincorporated Florence-Graham community. The second car wound up underneath the back of the first car and both sustained major damage.
Paramedics with the LACFD responded and located five people with injuries. They were all transported to hospitals in unknown condition.
Investigators are working to determine fault for the bus crash on Florence Avenue.
