RIVERSIDE, California (May 8, 2016) – Two people had major injuries and three suffered moderate injuries Sunday morning after a two-vehicle crash on the westbound 10 Freeway Sunday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol dispatch.
The accident happened at around 10:47 a.m.
Preliminary record stated that authorities responded to an emergency calling for aid near Eagle Mountain. Upon arrival at the scene, they have located a gray Jeep and a white Hyundai involved in a wreck.
The Jeep reportedly overturned several times resulting in major vehicle damages.
The force from the impact resulted in two people being airlifted to local hospitals with major injuries. Ambulances also transported three others with less severe injuries to hospitals.
