RIVERSIDE, California — According to an article by Press Enterprise, several parties were hurt as a result of a 2-vehicle crash at Meridian Parkway and Opportunity Way in March Air Reserve Base.
On March 15, a collision between a Nissan Titan and a box truck took place at the intersection around 11:40 a.m.
All the occupants in the involved vehicles were hurt and people had to be extricated before being rushed to a hospital, as per the article. Authorities released details that two of the people involved suffered serious injuries, two had moderate injuries, and one had minor injuries.
Officials said the intersection was controlled by a stoplight but it is not yet clear which vehicle ran the red light and caused the accident.
The crash site and surrounding area was closed to traffic to give way to the investigation.
