Colton Accident 10 Freeway
CHP officials reported the drivers of a gray Kia Sol, a gray Mercedes Benz, a black Chevrolet Dart, a silver GMC SUV and a silver Ford F-150 pickup truck were involved.
Police and paramedics responded to help those injured and three of the vehicles were towed from the scene.
The CHP dispatch stated an Amazon truck “stopped abruptly” and the vehicle behind it “was possibly not paying attention and hit the rear.” This apparently set off a chain-reaction crash with a total of five vehicles, police said.
Investigators are working to determine fault for the Colton accident on the 10 Freeway as well liability for any injuries to motorists.
