Five Hospitalized with Injuries After Multi-Vehicle Collision on US395

SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY, Calif. (Aug. 17, 2026) — At least five people were injured in a multi-vehicle crash involving an ambulance on Highway 395 at Auburn Avenue on Saturday night in downtown Adelanto.

The traffic accident occurred around 9:15 p.m. on Saturday, August 15th, between an American Medical Response ambulance and four other vehicles, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department.

The cause of the crash is under investigation by the SBCSD. There were eight people among the five vehicles, including five who were transported by ambulances to hospitals.

The vehicle occupants included a 42-year-old Hesperia woman with two teenagers in her vehicle, a 46-year-old Victorville woman, a 26-year-old Perris woman, and a 20-year-old Adelanto man in the ambulance with two EMTs.

It’s unknown at this time who was taken to the hospital and the cause of the crash is unknown at this time.
