Suspected DUI Crash Involving 5 Vehicles in Spring Valley
SPRING VALLEY, Calif. (June 11, 2018) — A suspected DUI driver struck four other motorists and attempted to flee the scene of a collision Sunday night at Spring Street and Campo Road in Spring Valley, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash took place at 7:01 p.m. between the suspect’s vehicle and four other vehicles including a red Toyota Sonata and a silver Acura sedan. The motorists were blocking the Nos. 1 and 2 lanes of the roadway. It appears that police were able to catch the suspect and a technician was sent to the scene to test for DUI. It’s unknown whether any arrests were made after the crash.
Paramedics responded to help those who were injured in the crash.

It is unknown at this time what led to this collision, but police suspect the driver was under the influence of alcohol and or drugs and reportedly attempted to flee the scene. This person may face criminal charges for their actions as well as a civil lawsuit by those who were hurt or suffered losses in the crash.
