 6 Injured in Car Accident on Woodman Avenue in Van Nuys, CA

2 Critically Injured in Collision on Woodman Avenue

VAN NUYS, Calif. (Jan. 8, 2024) — Six people including a child were injured in a two-vehicle crash Saturday afternoon on Woodman Avenue in the Van Nuys area of Los Angeles.

The collision occurred at around 12:51 p.m. on Jan. 6th, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

LAFD officials reported the collision occurred in front of 6121 North Woodman Avenue between Bessemer Street and Erwin Street.

Two people became briefly trapped in the wreckage after the collision and were transported to a hospital in critical condition. Three others were also taken to the hospital in unknown condition and one person declined an ambulance despite minor injuries.

Investigators are working to determine fault for the Van Nuys car accident on Woodman Avenue.
