
SOUTH LOS ANGELES, Calif. (March 7, 2023) — Six people were injured early Tuesday following a police pursuit crash on West Washington Boulevard in South Los Angeles.
The 3-vehicle crash occurred about 12:35 a.m. on March 7th, according to the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) and a KTLA 5 News report.
LAPD officers attempted to pull over the suspect’s vehicle occupied by four people and a pursuit ensued. The vehicle reportedly crashed into two other vehicles in the 2100 block of West Washington Boulevard.
The two innocent drivers and four people from the suspect’s vehicle were injured, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Among those hurt was a man and a woman, both 20 years old, who suffered major injuries. Also, a 22-year-old woman and three teenagers were treated for minor injuries. The report did not say which people were in what vehicles.
The unidentified suspects were arrested on undisclosed charges.
The investigation into the pursuit crash on Washington Boulevard is ongoing. The area in South LA is known to have some of the city’s most dangerous intersections.
