Multi-Vehicle Collision on State Route 85 in Mountain View
MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. (Dec. 17, 2024) – A multi-vehicle crash in Mountain View happened Tuesday morning on Highway 85 and El Camino Real.
The crash occurred in the northbound lanes of SR-85 about 4:56 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 17th, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The drivers of a white Nissan Leaf, a blue SUV, a red Toyota Highlander SUV, a pickup truck, a grey Volkswagen, and one other vehicle were involved. The vehicles pulled over to the right shoulder and center divider. The Highlander reportedly had major rear-end damage, the report said.
Paramedics from the Mountain View Fire Department responded to help at least one person with minor injuries, but there are no further details.
Investigators are working to determine fault for the crash on Highway 85 in Mountain View.
