7 Injured in Crash Involving LAFD Engine on Figueroa Street in Los Angeles

LOS ANGELES, Calif. (Sept. 14, 2026) – Seven people were injured in a crash involving a Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD) engine and three other vehicles on Figueroa Street in the Vermont Vista area of Los Angeles.
The four-vehicle collision occurred at around 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 13th at 11928 South Figueroa Street, near the Harbor (110) and Glen Anderson (105) freeways, according to a
LAFD spokesperson.
Authorities say one person was extricated from a vehicle and seven people total were hospitalized, including a LAFD employee. It’s unknown if anyone injured suffered life-threatening injuries.
Detectives are working to determine the cause of the crash.
