Multi-Vehicle Collision on Southbound I-405 in Carson
CARSON, Calif. (Sept. 4, 2024) — A seven-vehicle crash happened Wednesday morning in Carson on the southbound Interstate 405 Freeway, just south of Carson Street.
The pileup collision occurred at 7:10 a.m. on Sept. 4th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The drivers of a white Lexus and six other motorists were involved, but it’s unknown what led to the accident.
The vehicles collided in the fast lane, but all drivers were able to pull over to the right shoulder.
There were unknown injuries involved, but paramedics were on the scene to help anyone hurt in the crash.
Investigators are working to determine fault for the Carson accident on the 405 Freeway.
