8 Injured in Marysville Crash Highway 20 and G Street
5-Vehicle Collision on Highway 20/10th Street in Marysville
MARYSVILLE, Calif. (March 10, 2025) – Eight people were injured in a five-vehicle crash on Highway 20 (10th Street) and G Street on Wednesday in Marysville.
The multi-vehicle collision occurred at 12:48 p.m. on March 5th at the Marysville intersection, according to Action News Now.
Paramedics responded and transported eight people including three with major injuries to Adventist Rideout Hospital, Sutter Roseville, and UC Davis, police said.
Investigators reported a driver in a white Tesla was heading eastbound at a high rate of speed on Highway 20. The motorists reportedly failed to brake in time and hit several vehicles stopped in the eastbound number one lane. Upon impact, a black Nissan was pushed into opposing traffic on the westbound side of the highway.
Meanwhile, the Tesla also struck a white SUV and pushed it underneath the back of a stopped fuel tanker truck. Eventually, the Tesla stopped in the westbound lanes of 10th Street, police said.
