Laguna Hills Pedestrian Accident at Bus Stop on El Toro Road

3 Pedestrians Struck by SUV

LAGUNA HILLS, Calif. (July 28, 2023) – A driver struck three people in a Laguna Hills pedestrian accident at a bus stop Thursday night near El Toro Road and Paseo de Valencia.

The pedestrian collision occurred around 8 p.m. on July 27th, according to the Orange County Sheriff’s Department.

The SUV driver was reportedly traveling in the wrong direction on the road. The vehicle veered across the roadway and crashed into the bus stop and pedestrians.

Paramedics responded to help those injured in the collision including the SUV driver who was hospitalized, according to a report by The Patch.

There was no further information about the pedestrians and if they were seriously hurt or not.

The case remains under investigation.
