Patrick Potts Injured in Motorcycle Accident Highway 183, Walsh Street

Major Injury Crash on State Route 183

CASTROVILLE, Calif. (August 24, 2023) — Patrick Potts suffered injuries in a motorcycle accident Thursday morning on State Route 183 at Walsh Street in Castroville.

The two-vehicle collision occurred around 6:53 a.m. on August 24th, according to the California Highway Patrol.

CHP officials reported the motorcyclist and a pickup truck collided on the highway.

Witnesses reported the rider was traveling behind an ambulance. Patrick Potts collided with the pickup truck and suffered major injuries including a fractured wrist, a concussion and a cut on his forehead.

Investigators are working on the case to determine fault for the crash on State Route 183.
