Motorcyclist Killed in Apple Valley Crash Identified

APPLE VALLEY, Calif. (Sept. 6, 2023) — Deondre Hearn, 24, of Apple Valley, died Sunday in a motorcycle accident on Bear Valley Road in Apple Valley.

The two-vehicle crash occurred around 7:13 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 3rd over the Labor Day weekend, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department.

Sheriff’s deputies responded to Bear Valley Road and located the injured motorcycle rider in the roadway, just west of Navajo Road in the city of Apple Valley, the report said.

The motorcycle and another vehicle collided at the intersection due to unknown circumstances.

Deondre Hearn was pronounced deceased on scene.

Investigators are working on the case to determine fault for the motorcycle accident on Bear Valley Road.
