Motorcyclist Killed in Crash on San Pablo Dam Road

EL SOBRANTE, Calif. (Sept. 14, 2023) — A fatal motorcycle accident happened Thursday morning on San Pablo Dam Road in El Sobrante.

The two-vehicle collision occurred around 6:15 a.m. on Sept. 14th, between Emilio Court and Terri Ann Lane, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The driver of a white Ford pickup truck and a Suzuki motorcycle rider were involved in the Contra Costa County collision. Police say the truck driver pulled out of Terri Ann Lane into the path of the eastbound motorcyclist on San Pablo Dam Road. The rider crashed into the side of the truck and was thrown off the bike.

Traffic lanes were blocked and paramedics responded to the scene to help the injured motorcyclist. Unfortunately, the motorcycle rider died at the scene.

Investigators are working on the case to determine fault for the El Sobrante motorcycle accident on San Pablo Dam Road.
