Deadly Crash at Vista Intersection

VISTA, Calif. (Sept. 28, 2023) — A fatal head-on crash occurred on Thursday morning at Olive Avenue and North Melrose Drive in Vista.

The traffic accident occurred at about 7 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 28th at the Vista intersection, according to The Patch.

It’s unclear at this time what led up to the collision, but it does appear that one of the vehicles veered into the path of the other one on Olive Avenue at North Melrose Drive, according to the San Diego Sheriff’s Department.

The report did not say if anyone else was injured in the crash.

Investigators are working to determine fault for the Vista crash on Olive Avenue.
