Pedestrian Severely Injured in Crash at Mira Mesa Bus Stop

MIRA MESA, Calif. (Oct. 18, 2023) — A pedestrian was severely injured in a car accident while at a bus stop on Mira Mesa Boulevard Wednesday in San Diego County.

The collision occurred just before 12 p.m. on Mira Mesa Boulevard near Camino Ruiz, according to the San Diego Police Department.

Paramedics responded and located the injured person and then rushed them to Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla for medical treatment.

Authorities closed down the eastbound lanes at the crash scene to conduct an investigation into what happened and determine fault, according to the San Diego Police Department.

Finally, authorities did not release the victim’s identity.
