2 Injured in Crash into Tabacco Store in Brea
BREA, Calif. (Oct. 20, 2023) — Two men were injured when a BMW crashed into the Tabacco Buzz store front on Imperial Highway in Brea.
The solo-vehicle crash occurred at around 4:40 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 19th, according to KTLA 5 News.
A woman driving a black BMW sedan reportedly crashed through the store front and plowed into the middle of the store where she reportedly struck a customer and a maintenance worker. It’s unknown if the female driver was also hurt or not.
The incident was caught on the store’s surveillance video and shows the two people dodging the car and extensive damage to the store’s inventory.
Paramedics responded to the scene to treat those hurt, but there are no further details at this time.
The building sustained major damage and was red-tagged by code enforcement officers.
The case remains under investigation by the Brea Police Department.
