Seth Cesena, 19, Killed in Fiery Crash on Van Buren Boulevard

RIVERSIDE, Calif. (Nov. 15, 2023) — A multi-vehicle crash on Van Buren Boulevard Tuesday night in Riverside left a 19-year-old Riverside man dead.

The traffic accident, which involved a UPS truck, occurred at around 5:54 p.m. on Nov. 14th, near Lovebird Lane, according to the California Highway Patrol dispatch.

Three vehicles including the UPS truck, a blue Toyota Corolla and a black sedan collided due to unknown circumstances. A black sedan involved in the collision caught on fire after the collision, the report said. One of the vehicles reportedly split into two pieces.

The Riverside County Fire Department responded to the scene and located 19-year-old Seth Cesena with major injuries. Despite efforts to save his life, the teenager died at the scene of the crash at 6:12 p.m., according to the Riverside County Sheriff Coroner.
