Motorcyclist Injured in Crash on West Coast Highway

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. (Nov. 20, 2023) – A woman was hospitalized with serious injuries Friday afternoon after a motorcycle accident on West Coast Highway in Newport Beach.

The traffic accident occurred at about 1:50 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 17th on West Coast Highway at 61st Street, according to the Newport Beach Police Department.

Police responded to the scene and located the woman down in the roadway and called for paramedics to transport her to a trauma center.

Authorities did not know what led to the Newport Beach motorcycle accident, but that remains under investigation, police said.
