LASD Patrol Vehicle Involved in Crash

WEST HOLLYWOOD, Calif. (Nov. 21, 2023) – A sheriff’s department patrol vehicle and a second vehicle were involved in a West Hollywood car accident on Santa Monica Boulevard.

The two-vehicle collision occurred at about 5:15 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 21st at the intersection of Santa Monica Boulevard and San Vicente Boulevard, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

Paramedics responded and transported both the sheriff’s deputy and the second driver to the hospital for treatment of undisclosed injuries, MyNewsLA reports.

Meanwhile, police diverted traffic away from the crash scene to conduct an investigation into what happened and determine fault.

The deputy driving the patrol vehicle the other driver were taken for hospital treatment in unknown condition, the LASD reported. Traffic was routed away from the area while an investigation was conducted into the circumstances of the crash.
