Motorcyclist Critically Injured in Crash in Unincorporated Vineyard

SACRAMENTO COUNTY, Calif. (Nov. 27, 2023) — A two-vehicle car accident involving a motorcycle happened Monday morning on Vineyard Road at Clover Ranch Drive in Sacramento County.

The collision occurred at around 6:29 a.m. on Nov. 27th in the unincorporated Vineyard area, according to the California Highway Patrol.

CHP officials reported the two vehicles collided in the middle lanes of the intersection due to unknown circumstances.

Paramedics from the Sacramento Fire Department responded with Sacramento Sheriff’s deputies to the scene to help the injured motorcyclist. The person was transported to a hospital with major injuries, but there are no further details at this time.

Meanwhile, tow trucks removed the damaged vehicles from the roadway.

Investigators are working on the case to determine fault for the motorcycle accident on Vineyard Road.
