Pedestrian Critically Injured in Hit-and-run Fairfield Crash

FAIRFIELD, Calif. (Dec. 1, 2023) — A Fairfield pedestrian accident involving a hit-and-run driver happened Thursday on Business Center Drive at Garden Valley Road.

The collision occurred at around 3:07 p.m. on Nov. 30th, according to the Fairfield Police Department.

A driver struck the victim due to unknown circumstances and fled the scene, leaving the person critically injured.

Paramedics responded and rushed the person to a hospital where they remain under treatment.

Authorities closed down the westbound lanes of Business Center Drive, just west of Green Valley Road for a few hours to investigate the crash scene.

There is no description of the suspect’s vehicle at this time.
