Man Struck, Killed at Farmersville Intersection

TULARE COUNTY, Calif. (Dec. 18, 2023) — A fatal pedestrian accident happened Saturday night at Visalia Road and Virginia Avenue in Farmersville.

The deadly crash occurred at around 11:30 p.m. on Dec. 16th, according to the Farmersville Police Department.

A driver struck an unidentified man who was walking in the roadway. Farmersville police responded to a 911 call and responded to the scene where they located the severely-injured man in the roadway, according to ABC 30 News.

Despite efforts to save his life, the man died at the scene of the collision.

Meanwhile, the driver involved in the collision stopped and cooperated with the police traffic investigation.

Authorities do not suspect drugs or alcohol were factors in the crash.
